I use PowerGramo to record a podcast ( using 1.1.0.18 ) and the recording for me is always top notch. I can then export the file into mp3 using Audacity and sound quality remains great...
Until the episode is played in a flash-based player.
The flash players have a problem with audio that is not encoded at 44.1MHz and 'chipmunks' the audio (I would imagine it's the problem, or one very similiar to it, mentioned in this post. )
From what I can tell, the default sample rate for PowerGramo is 48K. I have looked everywhere for somewhere to change it to 44.1. is this even possible to do? This wouldn't be that big of a deal but almost all of the podcast sites have some type of player built into the page. And, it's a little tiring re-recording my recording (in real time) so that is will be the correct sample rate.
Thanks! |
