Is it possible to use Powergromo on a Skype operating from a flash-drive, such as MPlat FlashPhone F2 or on one of the free flash drive skypes available on the internet?

We use these for community radio when we are on the road. The recorder that MPlat gives does not seem as good as Powergramo, so it would be nice if we could load it onto the flash drive with Skype to run from the flash drive. I am wondering if this is possible, perhaps with some sort of assist software which also runs the Skype in various flash drive setups. |

I would like to add, we are also using a program called Skype Mobile:
"This package allows you to run skype from removable media on a host computer. This package creates virtual links to folders on the host system, giving you a fully functional skype from a stick. It does not leave a trace, gives access to your chat history, contacts, pictures and stores files received in the default location directly to your removable drive."

I know nothing about how to do this, but if somebody could write a similar simple program that would allow PowerGramo to be run from a USB flash drive alongside of the Skype Mobile, it would be greatly appreciated and a great help to people like me. Presumeably it would work with the commercial MPlat as well, which seems to be the same thing with headset jack included in the flash drive. |

hi coyote,
This sounds an interesting topic. I checked Skype-Mobile. It takes advantage of Window mobile device/CD/DVD auto-run technology. autorun.ini is the tip point to make sense. It's not quite difficult to lunch powergramo when a USB key plugs in.
PowerGramo now saves setting, registeration information in registry. I will forward this request to our developer and I am sorry we will release mobile PowerGramo powered Skype package soon.
Regards

I'm not so interested in the autorun for the PowerGrama, since I only record the interviews, not all my calls. I am mainly interested in being able to get it simply to run from a USB stick, at my pleasure. |
