Hi,
I guess all of you might have been experiencing this.
many times when I start powerskype, it remains unconnected (red X), while skype is running with no problems. It can take more than 10 mins, and sometimes it just stays unconnected.
Usually u need to restart the client to fix this, but many times it still remains unconnected. |

Is your skype's window active? It should be connected in 1/2 seconds. We have tried to open Skype's main window when it's closed in our internal test.

I noticed the same thing.
Heres what I emailed to the PS guys this morning
Some thoughts so far:
- On the install make it selectable to install the app in the startup menu, then ensure a shortcut is in the stratup menu so it can be removed
- I notice that if skype and powerskype auto start then if I mouse over ps in the system tray it says "not connected" until I actually open up skype .. then its connected |

Thanks for your test, Matt.
Same as the message I sent to you in email:
The option will be added soon and "Open Skype" First is a must in order to connect PowerSkype and Skype.
Please give us more feedbacks on the record quality later.
