It would be helpful if there were a way to convert PowerGramo files to .mp3 and/or .wav format so that they could then be imported into sound editing software.
Is there any way to do that presently?

OK, I figured it out. You have to first export the file as .wav or .ogg; then it can be imported into Audacity.

There are dedicated converters such as AudioCatalyst, which costs about 30 bucks, which are faster than Audacity. I've also used open-source converters from Sourceforge.net as well, if I recall correctly. |
